There are Chrome Molybdenum Steel Pipes types that could be normalized, quenched, tempered or more than one of these procedures applied. The grades differ and the mechanical properties differ as well. Each grade has a different chemical composition and that corresponds to the mechanical properties. The different grades also govern the dimensions and wall thicknesses of the pipes. The 1 1/4 Cr 1/2 Mo Pipe is an example of different classes with different diameters.
